There are so many Halloween events for 2017! Over the next two weeks the calendar is packed with upcoming activities that the whole family can enjoy.   We have a complete list of everything you need to get you through the holiday, including budget friendly FREE Halloween event ideas in WNY.

Earlier this month I sent out an email that listed a TON of upcoming Halloween related events where the kids could either wear their costumes, go Trick or Treating or be part of a parade.  I’ve added a ton more to our calendar since that email!  To see a complete, updated list of Halloween events click here!  This will take you to the “Upcoming Events” section of the website.  I’ve used the filtering feature on the calendar so when you click the link provided you’ll only see the upcoming Halloween events!  Some days have more events than what can fit in the calendar box.  If that is the case you’ll see a note at the bottom of that day’s box that says “View all x events”.  Click there to see ALL the events happening that day.

Trick- or-Treat Times in WNY

Each year the local news stations put out a list of Trick-or-Treat times by location.  They tend to be pretty accurate so that is what I generally reference.  That said, each station may cover different areas so here are links to the three main stations and the information, if they’ve provided it, on Trick-or-Treat times in WNY.

WGRZ – Channel 2 – They hadn’t posted a list as of 10/18/17.  I will add it here as soon as I see it.

WIVB – Channel 4 – They hadn’t posted a list as of 10/18/17.  I will add it here as soon as I see it.

WKBW – Channel 7   – They hadn’t posted a list as of 10/18/17.  I will add it here as soon as I see it.

Fall Festivals and More

Also, please note, throughout the next two weekends, many of the pumpkin patches around town are hosting special events.  Please check out our Pumpkin Patches Near Buffalo, NY post for a complete list of area pumpkin patches.  From there, visit the website or Facebook page for the patch you’re thinking of visiting for latest details on what is coming up.  They may have special events or Halloween themed activities closer to Halloween.
